The EUR/USD started the week off with a rally to bear trendline resistance established during last week's decline, then dropped off sharply overnight to previously established resistance near 1.4260. This may prove to be a critical level as prices are coming down off longer-term 38.2% resistance which oftentimes signals a strongly trending market.

Cyberjaya, the Intelligent City

Beautiful, Peaceful and Intelligent.
Majority of Malaysians have not visited Cyberjaya. Those that had visited, would have stories to tell "how I lost my way in Cyber".

(FIFA.com) Monday 4 January 2010
After starring and scoring for England at France 1998, Korea/Japan 2002 and Germany 2006, David Beckham has told FIFA.com that he is relishing the prospect of appearing in his fourth FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa in June and July.

The 34-year-old midfielder’s chances of being in the Three Lions’ 23-man squad were recently discussed by Fabio Capello, who said: "Of course he will be included, if he plays [for AC Milan] and is well physically,” he said. “I don't look at ages. I look at skill and Beckham has a lot. He's serious, a real professional and he's really dedicated to making the World Cup squad."

WORLD FOREX:Dollar Down Vs Yen As Japan Weakens Forex Rhetoric
STORYCOMMENTS SCREENER (1)
AlertEmailPrintShare By Takashi Nakamichi
TOKYO (MarketWatch) -- The dollar fell from a four-month high against the yen in Asia on Friday as Japan's new finance minister toned down his rhetoric about a weaker domestic currency, cooling speculation that Tokyo might act to push its currency higher if deemed necessary.

Traders said the greenback could decline further if U.S. December jobs data due later in the global day come in weaker than expected.

After briefly hitting Y93.78 on EBS--the highest since Y94.08 on Aug. 28-- the dollar began falling on fresh Japanese government comments that raised doubts over the nation's commitment to stemming potential yen rises. The greenback fell to as low as Y93.11, below Y93.28 in New York late Thursday, before recovering slightly.

On Friday, Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama criticized Finance Minister Naoto Kan's explicit call the day before for a lower yen.

Chaga - " King of Herbs"

Chaga, (Inonotus obliquus), also known as cinder conk, is a fungus in Hymenochaetaceae family. It is a parasitic fungus on Birch and other trees. The sterile conk is irregularly formed and has the appearance of burnt charcoal. The fertile fruitbody can be found very rarely as a resupinate (crustose) fungus on or near the clinker, usually appearing after the host tree is completely dead. I. obliquus grows in birch forests of Russia, Korea, Eastern Europe, Northern areas of the United States and in the North Carolina mountains. The Chaga mushroom is sold as a medicinal mushroom in the health supplement industry.

[edit] Medicinal use
Since the 16th century, there are records of chaga mushroom being used in folk medicine and the botanical medicine of the Eastern European countries as a remedy for cancer, gastritis, ulcers, and tuberculosis of the bones.[citation needed] In 1958, scientific studies in Finland and Russia found Chaga provided an epochal effect in breast cancer, liver cancer, uterine cancer, and gastric cancer, as well as in hypertension and diabetes.[citation needed] Herbalist David Winston maintains that it is the strongest anti-cancer medicinal mushroom.[1]. Russian Literature Nobel Prize laureate Alexandr Solzhenitsyn wrote two pages on the medicinal use and value of chaga in his famous book on his life in the Gulag "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich".

Tun Mahathir's Views

THE WEALTH OF NATIONS

1. Adam Smith wrote about the above title a long time ago (1757). He talked about invisible hands which were instrumental in growing the wealth of nations.

2. In the latest financial crisis in the United States the invisible hands certainly played a big role. It took the form of abuses of the banking, monetary and financial system.

3. Pushed out of the international market place by the cheaper and better manufactured goods of the East Asian countries the West turned towards the financial system in order to enrich themselves. The opportunities for abuses were abundant.

4. They discovered that banks could create money out of thin air; without Government control (free market) any amount of loans of non-existent money could be given by the banks; the sale of commodities need not involve the commodities at all. It is the same with selling shares and currencies; having physical possession is not necessary. Sell and buy imaginary shares and make tons of profit.

List of Billionaires

Start the new year by looking up. Others that are successful had come from humble background. They worked themselves up. The top of the list, of course Bill Gate had to buy something from somebody, then made billions. We would feel as well proud to know that two Malaysians are in the list of top earners. How's that? Can we be one, and generate employments to others.

2009 BMW X3As thousands of dealers nationwide await a decision from both Chrysler and General Motors on which lots to close, they're also adjusting to what will likely be a 11-million-unit sales market this year. That's down considerably from the 13.2 million units sold in 2008.

Part of that adjustment? Managing how many vehicles they have on the lot at once. Leave too many Toyota RAV4's sitting unsold on the lot and the market will adjust accordingly, rapidly depreciating values and resale prices. Provide too few, and dealers lose money on sales they could--and should--have made.
